175XL2 Overview
Floatation
This scraper transfers very little weight to the tractor which allows you to use a standard tractor drawbar. The 29.5 x 25 OTR rear tire keeps the rear of the scraper climbing up onto soft conditions. For the front dolly wheels, 23.5 x 25 20 ply., bias tires come standard for more floatation in softer conditions.
Large Gate Opening
The extra wide 62″ front gate opening allows for bulky material to easily be ejected so you don’t have to deal with unloading frustrations. It enables you to unload material exactly where needed easier than competitive models with poor gate openings.
Improved Socket System
The 175XL2 is equipped with a precision ball and socket design that is adjustable for wear with a great range of motion. As with all Ashland Dolly Wheel Scrapers, the socket assembly is machined to provide better lubrication to the top of the ball for extended longevity.
Visibility
When scraping, the left-side front gate viewing window enables you to observe the loaded material inside the scraper bowl. The large 16″ front section pipe placement is raised to provide the operator with excellent blade visibility from the tractor cab. Large cut-outs have been placed on the ejector rack allowing you to see behind the scraper for increased safety while operating.
Strong Floor
The five-piece blade system, oversized plow bolts, and dual plated floor design, stumps, tree roots and large rocks are no match for this scraper. This is especially beneficial when doing land clearing on new land.
