Ashland Angles in on Agriculture at Ag In Motion Tradeshow

Western Canada’s largest outdoor farm expo on 100 acres at Discovery Farm Langham was held on July 16-18, 2024 near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The tradeshow featured interactive exhibits and live field and crop demonstrations. Ag in Motion gives attendees a chance to see the newest agriculture technology in the field, touch innovative new products and equipment for your farm, and connect with farmers and industry again, live and in person.

Ashland’s agriculture scrapers showcased a pair of productive pull-pans, the Ashland 2411E and the Ashland 1812E scrapers in Booth 210.

The Ashland 2411E has design features that allows farmers to load and unload the scraper with ease. The front section is attached low to the bowl just over the cutting edge. This lower pull point gives a smoother cut at a faster speed. The vertical position of the lift cylinders enables faster blade response, allowing operators to keep the tractor pulling the desired powerband to make large, quick loads. The long hitch transfers 77.5% of the load weight onto the rear tires while reducing the weight placed onto the tractor. The extended front section and large gate opening allows for material to unload quickly without double ejecting.

Aim 1812e Demo

The Ashland 1812E is designed using the same guiding principles as larger format pull pan scrapers in the Ashland higher-capacity scraper line. The 1812E packs all the same impressive performance into a smaller package, making it an ideal earthmoving solution for mid-high horsepower tractors. The 1812E has the perfect combination of width, capacity, weight transfer ratio, and ground-engaging geometry to suite the needs of farmers and construction contractors doing smaller earthmoving projects.

Not only did Ashland have scraper specialists available for tradeshow attendees to dig in to the details of these impressive pieces of efficient earthmoving, the company featured an additional 1812E scraper optimized with a walking-tandem axles for full tilt functionality, and added T3RRA GPS software. The daily demo site action occurred at 10:30am and 2:30pm, which allowed attendees to sign up for a ride and drive!

The collaboration continued, by Ashland inviting guest speaker Gwen Brittain of T3RRA back in the Ashland booth at 1:30PM for farmers to learn as she talks about the advantages of GPS and Scraper technology.

Ashland’s appearance at Ag In Motion further solidifies the Ashland brand of scrapers as the ideal solution for Agriculture Earthmoving Equipment.
